30 mile circular bike ride around Stokesley to raise money for

"A Celebration of Life after Cancer" Charity

The Stokesley Charity Cycle Ride started when Paul Mackintosh "volunteered" to "do a bike ride" for a two and a half year old girl called Chloe Brown who was suffering from a very rare form of cancer. Her grandparents, Des and Hazel Brown, wrote to Paul thanking him for agreeing to organise a charity bike ride. The rest they say is history.

A different charity has been selected for each of the ten years that the event has been organised and overall a total of over £70,000 has been raised.
